The dual layer button is greyed out in the settings pane / I cannot select my dual layer burner from the burner selector in the preferences pane. Since v. 3.1, Mac DVD Copy software supports dual layer burners and media that are natively supported by OS X. You need to have OS X 10.3.6 installed to use dual layer burning. The rule of thumb is: if you can burn a dual layer DVD from iTunes, you will be able to burn a dual layer DVD with DVD Copy for Mac. To check if your dual layer drive is natively supported by the OS, you can look at the information available for your drive in the System Profile, under the "Disc Burning" field. It should say something like "Apple Supported / Shipped". If the drive is not natively supported, ask the manufacturer of your drive for a patch that adds OS native dual layer burning support for it. Feel free to contact support for updated information on the patches available.
Working folder already contains files. DVD Copy Mac software has detected files in the working folder. They may cause errors during the copy. Please remove them and try again.
This may happen if you had previously selected the option "leave copy on disk" or if the previous copying process ended unexpectedly by a crash or for any other reason. If you had selected "leave copy on disk" you can either select a different folder to store the files in the "Default working volume" option in the preferences pane or delete the stored files from the folder you had previously selected. If the previous copy ended with a crash and you are receiving this message, just locate the folder you had selected in the "Default working volume" option to delete the files. If you had not selected a specific folder, then DVD Copy for Mac stores the temporary files in a hidden folder at the root level of the main volume. To locate it you can use the "Go to folder" option in the "Go" menu of the finder. Enter /temp and hit OK. This should display the folder as long as there is any content stored in it.

To avoid the DVD Player application from launching when you insert a video DVD, you can go to the System Preferences, in the CDs & DVDs tab and select "ignore" in the "When inserting a video DVD" option.
How can I prevent the DVD Player application to launch when I insert a video DVD?
